Gender reveal

Time is going so quickly. It felt like yesterday I found out my girlfriend was pregnant. Fast forward a couple of months and we found ourselves at the hospital awaiting our 20 week baby. The midwife was impressed with everything seen on the scan ie measurements of heart and brain. It took a little while to get the head measurements as baby B did not want to move. A bemused sonographer had a chuckle and said “well your baby doesn’t want to move for me but he is happy to flash his penis”. It was the first time we had heard what the gender of our baby was going to be. We were both delighted at the news that we are expecting a little boy on 12.12.19! Excitement has fully over took the nerves and shopping for your own baby is actually more fun that first thought! Keeping the news a secret was tough, although eventually released through a series of photos with baby boy balloons! It was a kind of a nice “ha in your face” to people who thought they were pregnancy experts and predicted a baby girl! Although we would of been happy either way!
